What is Automobile Engineering

Automobile Engineering is a branch study of engineering which teaches manufacturing, designing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles. It is an introduction to vehicle engineering which deals with motorcycles, cars, buses trucks etc. It includes branch study of mechanical, electronic, software and safety elements. Some of the engineering attributes and disciplines that are of importance to the automotive engineer and many of the other aspects are included in it.

Safety engineering and quality management are other aspects of the same branch. It also includes manufacturing of vehicles. Automobile engineering is research-intensive and involves application of mathematical models.

Requirements to Study Automobile Engineering

Most of the universities in the USA, Canada require you to give the GRE. Few universities from Germany require GRE scores. However, GRE is not required for admission to Australian universities. IELTS or TOEFL is compulsory for acquiring student visa and as a proof of English proficiency.
