BOOKS FOR GRE/TOEFL
I'm confused with magoosh GRE and GRE edge for is preparation which one is better
I have 6 month time
I need 320+ score
so please guide me and guys please give your suggestion for my GRE journey
COMMENTS
Kunal Das: Magoosh gre is pretty good, idk about gre edge
Akriti Marwaha: I have taken them both.. Greedge gives a more personalised form of teaching making study patterns, tests, etc designed accordingly for you whereas magoosh just gives you the material and they have a study pattern already constructed if you would like to follow. So if you need a push where you have a time table and people following up on you then go for GREEdge otherwise it's all the same
alexander aeronautical: Please give your suggestion
Sirisha Chinthalapati: Hi I took greedge and it's not that great. From my experience magoosh is way better than it.
alexander aeronautical: Okay
Aditya Jain: I can give recommendation for Magoosh coz I used it too. Essentially I took 2 months to study. 1st month I only studied the Magoosh vocabulary flashcard app along with doing quants on regular basis. At the end of the month I was done with all about 1000 words I had studied and I gave 1 week to myself to revise them. During this 1 week of time, I took up a challenge to finish a novel.( I don't read novels generally). I was actually done with the novel of about 350 pages within 6 days. The vocabulary really helped. And also my vocabulary got revised as well. Finally after all that I started to take up english. I started doing Magoosh questions. Also with a gap to 10 days I took ETS mock tests. I took 2 tests, for 1st I got 311 and for the 2nd I got 325. Finally 3 days after the second mock test I took GRE and scored 314.
alexander aeronautical: What about essay correction in GRE Edge
alexander aeronautical: AWA score
alexander aeronautical: Above average
alexander aeronautical: Fine
alexander aeronautical: Verbal score
naman jogani: @alexander.aero do Magoosh, its amazing and the guys out there are very prompt in helping.
Prabhsimran Bakshi: Go for magoosh. I had just 20 days to prepare and i refered to magoosh and i scored 317 so magoosh is better
Monica Gupta: Magoosh is the best GRE prep out there, the questions give you an idea of how the test attempts to trick people into answering incorrectly. They also do not have an excessive number of problems, not a lot of repetition of the same type of questions. I used magoosh flashcards for vocab and also learnt the words in the online practice. If you perfect your vocab, have good comprehension skill and are good at math you can score 155+ in verbal and 168+ in quant. Make sure you prepare sufficiently in advance for AWA as well, you wouldn't want to retake GRE just because you scored low there and don't leave it for the last minute.
