Pre-departure Orientation (PDO) for Fall 2018 students
EducationUSA@USIEF Chennai invites students admitted to Fall 2018 programs at accredited U.S. universities to attend the pre-departure orientation (PDO) on July 6, 2018.
The PDO is a one-stop resource for information on:
* F1 visa regulations while studying in the U.S.
* Pre-travel arrangements
* Social and cultural integration
* Campus life
* Academic expectations
* General dos and don’ts
The program will include presentations and interaction with U.S. Consulate Chennai officials, EducationUSA advisers, current students & alumni of U.S. universities. Join in to celebrate this milestone in your life and get to know others who are headed the same way. Registration is mandatory.
Last date to register for the PDO: Monday, July 2, 2018.
Program fee: The PDO is free for all valid USIEF members; non-members need to pay INR 600. Cost covers reading material, lunch and tea/coffee.
