Fairleigh Dickinson University was conceived in the year 1942.The university has two campuses in New Jersey. The first one is located in the suburban region of Florham Campus in Madison, and the Metropolitan Campus is in Teaneck. At the former campus the emphasis is laid on liberal arts. The Master of Science in Computer Engineering, which is intended for students with a baccalaureate degree in engineering, requires 30 credit hours, of which six are thesis credits, and is designed to develop the scholarship and research skills of the student.
