Georgia State University fondly known as GSU is an enterprising public research institution that is located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia and was founded in1913; it is the largest institution of higher education of the University System of Georgia and is included between the 4th research universities of the system. The GSU has eight academic colleges where they offer more than 250 graduate and undergraduate programs in a semester-based academic calendar. The most popular majors of undergraduate programs at the Georgia State University are psychology, biology/ Biological Sciences and Accounting. On the other hand, for graduate students, the popular programs include the College of Business, College of Law and College of Education. The Master of Science in Analytics Concentration in Computational Data Analytics features a multi-disciplinary curriculum that draws on insights from computer science, statistics and business management. Students will learn the statistical and computational methods for collecting, storing and processing data; identifying patterns in large datasets; predicting and interpreting the findings; and making data-driven decisions.

English Proficiency/TOEFL – Language Requirements
In addition to meeting the regular admission requirements, a non-U.S. applicant whose native language is other than English must submit official scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Neither the TOEFL nor IELTS is required of international applicants who have received a degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or outside the U.S. where English is the official language of academic instruction, nor international applicants who were born in an English speaking country. Proof of a U.S. degree must accompany the application. The university maintains a list of countries exempt from submitting a language proficiency exam
