(1) Admission requirements for the Master’s degree in Meteorology are:, Proof of a bachelor's degree in meteorology with a grade of at least 3.0 or, an equivalent degree from a university in Germany or abroad., If you have a bachelor's degree in meteorology with a grade lower than 3.0 or a, If the degree is not equivalent, a selection interview is required. In accordance with the requirements of the University Act, the examination board decides on the equivalence and also on which additional services may need to be provided before admission to the master’s course, and also whether and to what extent study and examination results from a bachelor’s degree outside of the subject are coursework and examination results in the Minor subject of the Master’s degree in Meteorology (see appendix to these examination regulations). In order to receive admission, the requirements must be met in the first year of study., (2) It is assumed that the students have sufficient active and passive English language skills that enable them to read English-language specialist literature and participate in courses in English; this does not include the preparation of written coursework or examinations in English, unless otherwise stipulated in these regulations., (3) Another prerequisite for admission to the Master’s degree in Meteorology is that the entitlement to examinations for this degree has not yet been lost. An appropriate declaration must be submitted for the relevant verification., (4) Insofar as a degree certificate is not yet available at the time of application to prove a bachelor's degree according to Paragraph 1 No. competent authority of the previous university, possible or possible on the basis of a provisional certificate of recognition from Johannes Gutenberg University for foreign degrees., (5) Even with existing admission requirements, admission to the master’s degree in Meteorology depends on successfully completing the admission procedure.
