Course Description

The Master of Science in Computer Science is a program designed for students with a background on computer sciences that will allow them to grow their knowledge in technology combining both computing and application domains. This will provide organizations a profile that can develop, design, market and utilize computing systems.

MS in Computer Sciences gives the students the opportunity to focus on a curricular concentration including database management, security, network, artificial intelligence, computer-human interaction, programming languages and software engineer.

Core Requirments:

The MS in Computer Sciences requires an accumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher in the three following core courses.

  • Algorithms.
  • Programming Design Paradigm.
  • Managing Software Development or Computer Systems.

The MS in Computer Sciences offers more than 70 Elective courses where the students must complete 20 semester hours.

When it comes to the Specialization a minimum of 8 semester hours must be taken of one of the following Specialization:

  1. MSCS with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence.
  2. MSCS with Specialization in Computer-human Interface.
  3. MSCS with Specialization in Data Science.
  4. MSCS with Specialization in Game Design.
  5. MSCS with Specialization in Theory.
  6. MSCS with Specialization in Graphics.
  7. MSCS with Specialization in Information Security.
  8. MSCS with Specialization in Networks.
  9. MSCS with Specialization in Programming Languages.
  10. MSCS with Specialization in Software Engineering.
