Course Description

Master of science program is offered with a thesis option, or with a project option, or with a course option. The course is complete in 30 units of graduate work in one of three options chosen. Each option consists of graduate course and optional practicum work satisfying certain breadth requirements plus a depth requirement consisting of a thesis, project or portfolio document. All graduate students can participate in the graduate co-op program and in some cases, earn academic credits towards their degree

Our department is home to 26 regular faculty members who specialize in a variety of research areas such as computer graphics and vision, computer security, databases, intelligent systems, programming languages, software engineering, open source software, sensor networks, and high performance computing.

MECES offers a full range of courses and degree programs in Computer Science. Our programs, in addition to the opportunities to develop professional skills through MECOP and PECP, are designed to provide students with the educational background to achieve a career in the computing industry. With over 800 undergraduate CS majors and almost 200 graduate students, we offer a community to learn, discover, innovate, and share a curriculum based on the application and theoretical foundations of Computer Science.We invite you to join our Computer Science community and explore our programs!
