The State University of New York Polytechnic Institute, fondly known as the SUNY Polytechnic Institute or SUNY Poly, is a public research university located in the town of Mercy, New York that was founded in 1966. SUNY Poly is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
