Robotics itself is an interdisciplinary course, a candidate could have an undergrad from material science and still can find themselves working in soft robotics. The fact that you have worked on various projects is itself an advantage I'd suggest you just tell them honestly why you have varied projects and try to link your research to the ongoing research in their labs See more
