Do UMich grad students find it difficult to secure jobs in places like San Francisco or New York given Columbia, Cornell and NYU in NY and all UCs in California. Is it better to stick to NY universities for specifically Operations Research of FE interested students. I have admits from Columbia MS&E(1.5yrs) and Cornell ORIE(9 month) as well.
