I need help to finalize my admits. USC - E&C (Computer Architecture) ASU - CS( EE ) NCSU - EE (Computer Architecture) USC I assume to be the best of the 3, but I feel NCSU can be a better option just because of cost. Should I weigh cost to be a reason to miss USC ?

USC cost of living is extremely high. NCSU 2 yr tuition fee comes to 60k(30 credits in 4 sems). If you plan to do in 3 sems, the total tuition comes to 52k. Living expenses in raleigh is very cheap about 500 dollars/month (including utilities, housing). No you shouldn't dismiss USC based on cost, because NCSU isn't all that cheaper, if at all. If I'm not wrong, the tuition for NCSU is about 35k per year whereas for USC it's about 30k per year, right? That difference in tuition fees will more or less compensate for the higher living expense in Los Angeles See more
