UTD -MSBA cohort(Data science track) or SUNY Buffalo - MS Engineering science with focus in Data science? Which one is better?

@sanjayar1998 Depends on your priority. 

Ranking: If you care about such things then SUNY Buffalo is a tier above UTD. Buffalo > UTD

Curriculum: Buffalo's curriculum is more technical in nature with better faculty. You are more likely to have better peers.  Buffalo > UTD

Cost: Buffalo is more affordable but UTD has tuition waivers. So I can't comment on the ultimate cost. 

Location: Buffalo is isolated and in the middle of nowhere in upstate NY. UTD > Buffalo

Assistantships/On-Campus Jobs: I am not sure about the current situation but in UTD you will face stiff competition with fellow Indians. UTD has more Indian Students than most US Colleges. 

Weather: UTD wins here hands-down. Buffalo Winters are horrible and Texas climate is comparable to India.  UTD >>> Buffalo 

Jobs/Opportunities: It ultimately depends on your strengths and networking. UTD certainly has a location advantage but it doesn't matter much if you are willing to relocate post-graduation.

Utd msba is having best alumni network than buffalo. Engineering science is a new one. UTD and buffalo are on same tier no big difference.
