UTD has great facilities and good ROI but they accept almost every student who apply. It's more like indian clg in usa with good facilities and teaching. They have huge intake so getting oncampus jobs and jobs through career fairs held in clg is tough.

It does matter. You do have to network and try on your own but it gets little easier if univ has good number of companies coming for career fairs. Dallas-forthworth has good number of fortune 500 companies which makes it slightly easier to get job. And due to less taxes few companies started shifting to Texas. Dallas has less competition for getting jobs when compared to buffalo.
