I applied for NYU MS in CS program and they are offering me NYU MS in CE program i.e. Computer Engineering.

Will that be worth it when it comes to Science and Engineering comparision? Please suggest.

If u have any other decisions for CS coming up.. wait for it.. if this is the best clg u have got.. go for CE.. there's a basic diff b/w CE and CS.. the former focuses more on designing hardware whereas the latter focuses more on programming languages and algos.. for job CS is better

Yeah CS is better than CE and Dallas has good job opportunities I will suggest u to go with UTD CS but first do consult your seniors if any

I have the same admits, I even have a few others, I have finalized 2 from what i have ub mscs and nyu ce. I have spoke to professors and students at both end, and mostly would go with ub mscs.

Hey everyone, I would want to mention that NYU CE is not similar to NYU CS. So, in case you are purely interested in CS, I would recommend not to go for NYU CE.

Please go through the curriculum of both CE and CS available on NYU'S website.

If you have interest in CS, you might not want to enroll in CE.

p.s - I too applied for CS and got admit for CE.
