I did my B Tech from IIT Delhi in Electrical.
I am thinking of doing master's in computer science, but I haven't done some of the relevant courses like Operating system and Discrete maths. I am currently working as a software developer.
Are these course necessary or is there some way if you haven't done some courses?

Hi Vivek,
Changing your majors is a bit difficult for top universities, but your work experience as a software developer will help you. I would suggest you to have a couple of side projects / reccomendations which you can use to justify your skill and interest in computer science. Also while applying, try to apply for atleast 3-4 safe universities. If you really want to show some coursework in CS go for some online courses like coursera, edx , pluralsight etc

NPTEL courses are great for learning, but they are not recognised internationally! Yeah there are math bundles/ set of courses in coursera and Edx you can do to show knowledge in a specific area ( discrete math ).
