India Centenary Scholarship

About:

Awarded to students on a study permit with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta from a high school in India.

Scholarship Requirements:

Selection is based on academic standing, demonstrated leadership qualities based on involvement in extracurricular and community activities, and a counsellor or teacher's letter of recommendation. Renewal of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta, while studying on a study permit. Students must have graduated from a high school in India and have less than 24 IB, AP, or A-Level credits when beginning their undergraduate program at the University of Alberta.

You must apply to an admission to an undergraduate degree program before you can apply for any entrance scholarships. Application for admissions and scholarships opens on October 1, 2019.
