About:

Many of their academic scholarships are available to incoming new freshman international students. Scholarships are very competitive. Most are only available to students who plan to enter the University in the fall semester. Their goal is to support the university's mission of recruiting and retaining high-achieving students who enrich and diversify the academic environment of the University of Arkansas.

Scholarship Requirements:

  1. Annual award up to 3500 per year
  2. Renewable for 4 years (5 years for Architecture and MAT students)
  3. Awarded to students from underrepresented communities* who have demonstrated outstanding academic leadership qualities and potential.
    • *Members of underrepresented communities include but are not limited to:
      • Students from underrepresented ethnic or minority groups
      • Students with interest in a field that does not typically attract members of their ethnicity or gender
      • Students who reside in an underrepresented county in Arkansas
      • First-generation college students.

How To Apply:

If you want to apply for a scholarship, you must submit your admissions application by November 1. The admissions application should include your transcripts and SAT or ACT test scores.

Scholarships require a separate application. You can request the scholarship application on the general admissions application form. Submit this to the Academic Scholarship Office by November 15 for priority consideration.

The final scholarship deadline is February 1st.
