Amherst College is located roughly two hours north of New York City, two and a half hours north of Logan Airport, and two hours south of Boston's city center. 

Faculty, employees, and students at Amherst Campus are free to reserve college vehicles such as a hybrid car or a 7-person van to reach the college.

The Amherst College campus provides facilities that are thought to be favorable to learning.
