Transportation in the city
Employees that commute using zero-emission methods including walking, bicycling, and public transportation are actively encouraged to do so by Claremont McKenna College. Student life at Claremont McKenna College
Los Angeles is 30 kilometers from Claremont McKenna College's campus.
Its 69-acre campus is home to a number of facilities, including libraries, departments, sports courts, and health centers.
Students from Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Scripps Colleges participate in the NCAA Division III athletic program known as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. 10 sports for men (Stags) and 11 for women (Athenas) are sponsored by CMS. Since its founding in 1958, CMS teams have won more than 300 conference titles and seven team national championships.
- By actively participating in and investing in the numerous possibilities available at Claremont McKenna College, the staff of student activities is dedicated to assisting students in getting the most out of their education outside of the classroom.
- An effort operated by students called the CMC Bike Shop makes it easier for instructors, staff, and students at the college to travel. All Claremont McKenna College residents are welcome to borrow bikes for no cost for a brief period of time.
