The Erasmus University Rotterdam is one the biggest universities in the Netherlands. It was established in 1913 and has a student population of 29,000.     Location at Erasmus University Rotterdam

    The university is located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands with its campus in four locations: the Campus Woudestein, Erasmus MC, Erasmus University College, andInternational Institute of Social Studies. The hub of the university is its Woudestein campus. The campus is a 15-minute bike ride from Rotterdam’s city center. The city has a central train station where students can catch the tram or metro.


    Infrastructure at Erasmus University Rotterdam

    The university can boast of several infrastructures scattered around the campus. These include wide varieties of lecture rooms, seminar rooms as well as research centers. The school offers a wide range of rooms on campus that can be hired to organize a large event or conference. It’s likely that you might need a suitable space for a meeting or training session. The rooms available for hire are located in Tinbergen Building (Faculty Club), Van der Goot building, and Q- Building.

    The Van der Goot building (Erasmus Expo and Conference Centre) was opened in 1994. The building has several rooms building that can accommodate 12 to 921 people. Majority of the rooms are also used for educational purposes, such as examinations or lectures.

    More so, the school has a Faculty Club which is located on the 17th floor of Tinbergen Building. The club has a restaurant and six prestigious rooms that suitable for 10 to 42 people. There is the Q-Building which serves as accommodation for master programs and meetings. Q-Building has break-out rooms and a range of halls on the first and second floors. The rooms can accommodate between 6 and 41 people.


    Residing Options at Erasmus University Rotterdam

    The university is not responsible for students housing on campus. For this reason, its students are to bear the responsibility of getting accommodation that best suit their need. Interested students need to arrange for housing directly with landlords. It’s advisable that you give at least three months to start looking for accommodation before arrival to avoid disappointment and stress.


    Weather at Erasmus University Rotterdam

    The weather in Rotterdam is moderate. It summers are comfortable and partly cloudy while its winters are usually long, windy, and very cold. The temperature usually varies from 34°F to 72°F and is rarely above 82°F or below 21°F.

    About the School at Erasmus University Rotterdam

    Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University is the international business school of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. The school offers postgraduate and undergraduate programs that are taught mostly in English. These include executive education, MBA, and Ph.D. programs. All of its programs are accredited by relevant bodies. For instance, it has achieved triple accreditation—AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB - which are the international accrediting bodies of management education. In addition, the school is accredited by the Nederlands-Vlaamse Accreditatieorganisatie (NVAO).
