Transportation in the city
Macalester College is located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Snelling Avenue in Saint Paul, Minnesota and the distance between the city and the university is less than 7 miles. Macalester is well located for using public transportation; for instance, a Universal Pass on the Metro Transit provided by the university allows all students to take unlimited rides throughout Minnesota for a semester-long period. Fares generally range from 2.25 to 3.50 USD (179 to 278 INR). Students can also travel to the university by taxi which lasts for 10 minutes and is estimated to cost between 20 to 24 USD (1592 to 1911 INR). The university also offers MacBike, which increases bike advocacy and focuses on teaching riders how to repair their bikes and plane rides across the state.

- In order to fully encourage entrepreneurship at the university, all members are offered numerous opportunities like idea-building challenges, startup programs, and internships.
- The Digital Resource Center located in the library provides assistance related to academic technology and class projects. The center includes resources and services like printing and scanning, AV equipment, poster printing, and media digitization equipment. Additionally, the center has a total of 22 27″ iMacs, along with group and individual study spaces.
- Operated by the Academic Programs and Advising Office, faculty members help students with their academic and personal goals and any other assistance required during their time at the university.
