Transportation in the city

The Nagoya University campus is located at Furocho, Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 464-8601, Japan and is highly accessible via public transportation. Also, students can move freely to any corner of the city as both public and private vehicles are well connected.There are three methods to reach Nagoya from Nagoya University: by subway, cab, or on foot.  Take the Higashiyama Line to Motoyama Station (15 minutes), then switch to the Meijo Line to reach Nagoya Daigaku Station. Nagoya University is located 8 kilometers from Nagoya Station.Through the subway, it will take around 10 mins to reach the campus.


Services offered by the university

  • Nagoya University has various sports facilities that include badminton courts, table tennis, an indoor swimming pool, a basketball court, a Sports Complex, a track, and field facility, a soccer field, tennis courts, a baseball field, and more. Students of the Nagoya university can use these facilities freely or through the clubs and circles they are members of.
