Over the course of the year, the temperature usually varies from 32°F to 74°F and is rarely above 85°F or below 19°F. The warm season extends from June 4 to September 9, with an average daily rise in temperature above 67°F. The cool season extends from November 18 to March 9, with an average daily drop in temperature below 47°F.

The International Office offers graduation grants funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) every semester. The scholarships are amounting to 400€ monthly within four months.

Students need to pay back half of the loans with no interest. International students are only eligible to receive government loan in exceptional cases.
