Trinity College Dublin’s campus is situated in the heart of Dublin's city centre at a meeting place of the retail and cultural districts. The college is located in Dublin, Ireland's capital city with a reputation for friendliness and a vibrant social lifestyle.
Trinity College is surrounded by central Dublin and it is located on College Green, opposite the historic Irish Houses of Parliament. The college occupies 190,000 m² (47 acres), with many of its buildings ranged around large quadrangles and two playing fields. Academically, Trinity College is divided into three faculties consisting of 25 schools, offering degree and diploma courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Trinity College Enterprise Centre which is close to the main campus ground occupies the same square metre/acres of land with the university and the buildings account for around 200,000 m², ranging from works of older architecture to more modern buildings. The western side of the college is older, featuring the iconic Campanile, as well as many fine buildings, including the chapel and examination hall which were designed by Sir William Chambers, Graduates Memorial building, Museum Building, and the Rubrics, all spread across the college’s five squares
Trinity College offers several accommodations for international students studying at the university. You can choose to live in either the historic buildings in the centre of the campus or in more modern developments. There is also a Trinity Hall which is an official residence of Trinity College that is recommended for all students but particularly for newly admitted students. The Binary Hub is an additional accommodation located close to the Guinness Brewery and just a short walk to the college. Trinity College’s Kavanagh Court is a newly opened residence in Dublin and it is just a 15-minute walk to the College. All accommodations are well furnished and good housing services are provided too.
Ireland has a mild, temperate climate and although at times rainy, you can visit the country at any time of the year. In the country, the best months are March to May and September to November, as the weather is not as cold during the winter months.
