FAQ

1. If a student went to an international university and is not able to send an official transcript, can he still apply to the university?

In that case, the institution may temporarily utilize the copies that are scanned from the applicant's application for evaluation if it refuses to let the student access or transmit official transcripts. If the applicant is accepted, he must produce official transcripts before the offer may be completed.

2. Does the university accept GRE instead of GMAT score?

Only GRE exam results will be taken into account for the Business & Economics PhD programme. GRE or GMAT exam results are no longer required for any of the other subjects (Business Administration). 

3. Is there any requirement of work experience before joining MBA Ross?

Although the university does not specify a minimum number of years of job experience before admission to the Ross MBA programme, nearly all prospective Ross students have at least two years of work experience. 

4. Is there any provision to transfer into MBA program from any other program?

No, prior courses won't carry over into our MBA programme. Additionally, unless they are engaged in a dual-degree programme, Ross students are not permitted to be enrolled in more than one graduate programme at the same time.

5. Is it compulsory to take TOEFL for an international student?

Candidates must speak English with a very high degree of competence. Language abilities are evaluated during the process of application and taken into account when evaluating a candidate overall.

6. What are the eligibility criteria for the University of Michigan?

The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor offers 280+ majors at the undergraduate level and 200+ postgraduate programs. A GPA between 3.0-3.5 is considered ideal for admission to University of Michigan Ann Arbor graduate programs. In addition, high test scores, work experience and other achievements also matter for admission at U-M Ann Arbor.
