Over fifteen biomedical companies have used this incubator for research purposes.
The University of Montreal offers its full time students with on campus accommodation facilities for which the rates are around $400. Besides this, the university also helps students find off campus accommodations which are usually one or two bedroom apartments given on a contract for a period of not less than twelve months at a time. Such apartments are well equipped and contain all essential facilities like study table, cupboards, stove, refrigerator, laundry room etc. Some of the popular housing choices of students are in the neighborhoods of Snowdon, Outremont, CDN, Westmount, Centreville etc.
The city of Montreal which is located within the province of Quebec in Canada enjoys a mix of warm-summer and hot summer humid continental climate zones as a result the average temperature which this city experiences is around 22 degrees Celsius. Generally speaking, summers here are warm with the temperature being in the range of approximately 27 degrees Celsius. In the month of July, however, the temperature rises to almost 30 degrees Celsius. Winters, on the other hand, are extremely cold with strong winds blowing throughout the day. At times it even snows. During winters, the temperature falls in the range of -9 to -11 degrees Celsius. Both spring as well as autumn is comparatively mild.
All the faculty members teaching at the University of Montreal are highly educated. Some of them have achieved great recognition for their contribution in their respective fields of study.
