Transportation in the city

In Stirling, the bus is the most widely used mode of urban transportation. Other public transportation options exist in some cities. Most of the time, switching between modes of transportation is simple. Due to its high cost, many people only utilize taxis when they have no other choice. Before the tour begins, inquire with the driver about the cost of the trip. In Stirling, public transit is safe, efficient, and well-connected. All students are allowed to drive on campus, which is also served by public transportation (parking permits are required for most on-campus parking).

The University of Stirling's Library supports the development of undergraduate students into prospective researchers and houses the essential academic resources for graduate students and teachers.

Student life at University of Stirling

The university's campus covers 330 acres (1.3 km2) and is situated beneath the Ochil Hills, near the village of Bridge of Allan and two miles (3.2 km) from Stirling's city center. In the 2016 International Student Barometer, it was ranked first in the UK for its campus environment and is frequently referred to as one of the most beautiful campuses in the world. It is located on the grounds of the ancient Airthrey estate, which also features the Hermitage Woods, Airthrey Loch, and Airthrey Golf Course in addition to the Robert Adam-designed 18th-century Airthrey Castle.

There are numerous part-time volunteer executive officers in addition to these full-time, compensated officers.
