Services offered by the university

The Yokohama National University health service center arranges mandatory check-ups at least once a year. A psychiatrist or a counselor is always available on campus, as is a doctor or a physician. Medical examination and first aid for any injury or sickness are most important. Any situation that is not manageable by the health service center of the university will be referred to outside medical facilities immediately.

The Yokohama National University library has provided all the best possible materials for both academic and educational use by both researchers and students. First, there is the Central Library, the social science library, and the science and technology library. All three have more than 760,000 books, journals, and multimedia materials. The Central Library alone has more than 1100 seats and has 100 computers installed within its premises.

The cafeterias at Yokohama National University have a variety of menus that include cuisine from various countries. The dining hall also provides a plethora of dishes to dig in and enjoy. On the ground floor of the Central Library is a café where you can enjoy delicious coffees, cakes, and tasty savories.
